Jo Harford

Jo Harford is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Herzing University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University.

Jo brings extensive experience from both emergency and inpatient psychiatric settings. Prior to becoming a PMHNP, she worked as a Registered Nurse in a high-acuity Emergency Department, where she frequently cared for patients presenting with acute mental health concerns, utilized de-escalation techniques, and collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care. Her background also includes work in inpatient psychiatry as a travel nurse, serving adolescent and adult populations.

With a strong foundation in crisis intervention, medication management, and patient education, Jo is known for her calm, adaptable, and patient-centered approach. She is committed to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment and to partnering with patients to promote stability, resilience, and overall mental wellness.
