Laura DiMestico, DNP, PMHNP-BC, RN, is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of nursing experience. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Regis College (Weston, MA) and has been a registered nurse since 2007, caring for patients in medical and psychiatric settings throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Virginia.
Before joining Panacea Behavioral Health & Wellness Center, Laura served as the Nurse Educator at Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center, where she provided clinical education and supported evidence-based psychiatric care. She is passionate about delivering compassionate, individualized, evidence-based treatment and believes in partnering with patients to help them achieve their mental health goals.
Laura provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Her clinical interests include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, women’s mental health, and caring for military service members, veterans, and their families.
Originally from Massachusetts, Laura now lives in Virginia Beach with her husband and their four children. As a military spouse, she understands the unique challenges military families face and is committed to providing accessible, patient-centered care that promotes resilience, healing, and overall well-being.
