Reilly Duwa

I am currently working toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in 2023 and completed my Master of Social Work at VCU in 2024. I am passionate about supporting children, teens, and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful, lasting growth.

My therapeutic style is rooted in a humanistic, person-centered approach. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation in a safe, welcoming space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. I strive to create an environment that feels relaxed, authentic, and collaborative, meeting you where you are while helping you work toward your goals. I recognize that every person has unique strengths and experiences, and I tailor treatment to fit your individual needs.

I incorporate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, and play therapy. I work with children, teens, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, personality disorders, challenges with self-esteem and self-identity, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. My goal is to help clients develop practical coping skills, build resilience, and gain confidence while creating meaningful, lasting change.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, baking, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with my two cats. I believe healing happens not only through overcoming challenges but also by embracing the things that bring us joy. I bring that same warmth, authenticity, and curiosity into my work with every client.
