Counseling Intern
practicing under the supervision of Dr. Sandra Nichols
Hi, I’m Jackie, a counseling intern practicing under the supervision of Dr. Sandra Nichols. I’m currently completing my master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regent University as I work toward licensure.
I believe that counseling is, first and foremost, about the relationship we build together. Techniques and strategies matter, but real healing begins when you feel heard, understood, and accepted. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
I also believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role isn’t to tell you who you should be or what decisions to make. Instead, I’ll walk alongside you, offering support, curiosity, perspective, and practical tools as we explore your experiences together.

I take a holistic approach to counseling because our mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being are deeply connected. Every person’s story is shaped by relationships, life experiences, biology, culture, and personal beliefs. Together, we’ll explore the parts of your life that feel connected—as well as the parts that may feel disconnected or overlooked—to help you move toward greater understanding, healing, and growth.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, or simply feeling stuck, I would be honored to walk alongside you. My hope is that our work together helps you feel more connected to yourself and more confident in moving toward the life you want to create.
