Dr. Mary (Liz) Davis is a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner with a diverse clinical background spanning acute care, primary care, hospital medicine, and behavioral health. She currently serves full-time with Panacea Behavioral Health and Wellness, a position she has held since January 2025, where she provides comprehensive psychiatric and mental health care. In addition, she works on an as-needed basis with Novel Mind and Wellness, a local ketamine treatment clinic, and continues to provide per diem hospitalist coverage as needed.
Prior to transitioning to behavioral health full-time, Liz served as a full-time Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner with HCA Florida Capital Hospital through December 2024, providing inpatient medical management and coordinating care for complex hospitalized patients. Her extensive experience in both acute and outpatient settings has equipped her with a well-rounded perspective on patient care and wellness across the lifespan.

Liz began her nursing career by earning an Associate of Science degree from Tallahassee Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fort Hays State University. Committed to lifelong learning and professional excellence, she continued her education at Florida State University, where she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and subsequently completed a Post-Doctoral Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Certificate. She also earned her Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania, further expanding her expertise in the management of complex acute and chronic conditions.
Throughout her career, Liz has cultivated broad clinical expertise across numerous specialties, including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Labor and Delivery, Postpartum Care, Cardiovascular Intensive Care, Hospital Medicine, and Behavioral Health. Her experience in these demanding environments has strengthened her ability to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while managing complex patient needs.
In addition to her clinical practice, Liz has been actively involved in nursing education and professional development. She served as a clinical faculty member for the Florida State University Accelerated BSN Program, helping prepare future nurses for successful careers in healthcare. She has also served as a preceptor for both nursing students and advanced practice providers, sharing her expertise and fostering the growth of the next generation of healthcare professionals. Through these mentorship roles, she has instilled the values of clinical excellence, compassionate care, and lifelong learning.
